Working here

We are a small technology lab working from the silicon layer upward. We do not have a formal listings page yet. We do read every message that arrives with real work attached.

What the work actually is

We design chips and the tooling that designs chips. In practice that means GPU-native EDA, physical design and signoff on open PDKs, hardware security IP, and the hardware and software that sits on top of it.

It is unglamorous in the specific way real silicon work is unglamorous: the interesting problems look like a pin-access heuristic that snapped to the wrong track phase, or a timing probe reading eight nanoseconds optimistic because it skipped parasitic extraction. If that sounds like a good day rather than a bad one, we should talk.

Where we are strongest, and where we are not

We are deep in EDA flows, physical design, verification, and systems work. We are a small team, which means broad ownership and very little process. It also means no large-company scaffolding: if you need a defined ladder and a big team around you, this is not that.

What we look for

Formal credentials matter less to us than a repository, a paper, a tapeout, or a war story with specifics in it.

How to reach us

Email Info@univerancelabs.com with Careers in the subject. Tell us what you have built and point us at it. Skip the cover letter.

If there is nothing open that fits, we will say so plainly rather than leaving you waiting.
